He is currently the General Manager and Senior Vice President of the Multiport Division at Intuitive, where he is responsible for leading the multiport platform group. Dr. Carlson has a proven track record of success in bringing new robotic platforms to market. He was previously the General Manager and Vice President of the Endoluminal Division at Intuitive Surgical, where he led the development and launch of the Ion robotic platform. He also served as the General Manager and Senior Vice President of the Endoluminal Division at Intuitive, where he led the Ion platform into the marketplace. Throughout his career, Dr. Carlson has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the medical device industry. He is a strategic thinker who is able to identify and capitalize on new opportunities in the market.
